Naked Chilli

This is a low carb high protein meal ideal for either a lunch or a dinner. Replacing the rice with a lovely fresh large cabbage leaf this is ideal for anyone who is sticking to the lower carb options however still wants to feel satisfied.


You can even double the portions and make some for work the next day.


125g lean beef mince

3 little gem lettuce leaves

1/2 tin mixed salad beans (175g)

1/2 carton chopped tomatoes with basil (200g)

1/2 red pepper chopped

10 baby button mushrooms chopped 

50g chopped onions 

2 tsp chilli powder


Cook off mince in a little oil.

Chop onions, peppers, mushrooms and add to mince and cook through.

Add remainder of ingredients except for lettuce leaves and cook until hot through.

Serve chilli mix on lettuce leaves.
